Thermal Scanning

Thermal Scanning is used to perform preventive & predictive maintenance inspection on equipment because of the relationship with resistance on electrical equipment indicates electrical faults such as loose connections, overloaded or imbalanced circuits, faulty breaker, damaged switches, faulty fuse & other unwanted electrical conditions.

Before an electrical component fails as a result from heat. It can be isolated and repaired with the use of our Infrared Electrical Thermography device. We then act accordingly to correct the problem before the component fails.

Power System Analysis

Power System Analysis is an essential part of an electrical power system design. Calculations and simulations are performed to verify that the electrical system, including the system components, are correctly specified to perform as intended, withstand expected stress, and be protected against failures.

Standard regulations are used as the basis for robust system designs. It includes requirements and recommendations for the protection of personnel and equipment., system response, and equipment performances. Together with equipment ratings, regulations, and standards form  the basis for evaluation and simulation results.

SNTES performs PSA in all project phases; from early concept through engineering, “As-built” and throughout the installation. For many installations, the models are validated by measurements of the electrical system performance in operation. A validated “As-built” model provides significant advantages when used for decision support throughout the installation’s operational phase and for verification of proposed future installation modifications.

Preventive Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance (PM) is the practice of maintaining the equipment on a regular schedule, based on elapsed time, run-time meter readings, or the number of operations. The intent of PM is to "PREVENT" maintenance problems or failures before they take place by the following routine and comprehensive maintenance procedures. The goal is to achieve fewer, shorter, and more predictable outages.

Power Quality Analysis

Every commercial & industrial building system, production process is powered by electricity.  Good power quality is commonly defined as the power grid’s ability to supply a clean and stable power flow as a constantly available power supply. The power flow should have a pure sinusoidal waveform and remain within specified voltage and frequency tolerance.

Aside from the increase of power demand and an increase in industrial plants there are also a number of ways in which electric power can be of poor quality. Improper wiring, incorrect grounding, and unbalanced loads are just a few examples that can compromise power quality.

Using our advanced power metering equipment and specialized infrared, thermographic imaging, we will identify all types of power quality issues and provide you with a detailed report outlining potential solutions.
